Dr. Foght has over 40 years experience in the healthcare and life
sciences industries. He was co-founder Dupont Pharmaceuticals, founder
and President of Vector Securities, a premier investment banking
firm specializing in early-stage biotechnology ventures. He holds
many advisory positions. He is currently Chairman of the Board of
Directors of IllinoisVENTURES LLC, an organization that commercializes
University of Illinois technologies, and on the investment committee
of the Vector Later-Stage Equity Funds and Board of Director Illinois
Emerging Technology Fund.
John served as a marketing and business development executive at
GD Searle and Curatek. John has over 30 years of experience in pharmaceutical
business development, marketing and finance. He has successfully
taken drugs through the regulatory and commercialization process,
both for big pharma and as an independent entrepreneur.
Tom has 20 years of experience in transactional law and practice
(venture capital, joint ventures, securities and M&A). He was previously
at Sidley & Austin and Michael, Best & Friedrich. Tom has co-authored
three books on management, strategy and investment. Tom is acting
General Counsel for the Company as well.
