Mission and Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly motivated Research Associate
to help with efficacy and pharmacokinetics studies in rodent models.
Other responsibilities include timely performance
of experiments involving tissue culture, protein analysis, and molecular
biology experiments, in addition to ordering and maintaining supplies
for the laboratory. The successful candidate will work closely with
and report to a Sr. Research Scientist.
Required experience and skills:
- Strong experience with animal handling, dosing
(IV, SC, IP), sacrifice, and organ harvesting.
- Experience with various in vitro assays including ELISA
and cell based assays.
- Experience with in vitro assay development and tissue culture.
- Working knowledge of immunology and biology of diabetes are a
plus.
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to focus and prioritize
multiple projects, and adaptability required. Must be available
for occasional work on weekends and evenings.
- Complete notes daily and accurately
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in biology, biotechnology,
biochemistry or similar
- At least five years of experience working in a research lab

Mission and Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly motivated Research Associate/Research
Scientist/Sr. Research Scientist to perform analytical chemistry,
drug formulation, and synthetic chemistry experiments.
The successful candidate will report directly
to the Director of Research and is expected to work closely with
the team in the area of chemistry, formulation, and analytical chemistry.
Required experience and skills:
- Hands-on experience in analytical and bio-analytical
chemistry such as ELISA, colorimetric assay, chromatography, fluorescence
assay and enzyme assay. Bench experience in conjugation chemistry,
formulation, and the use of analytical instrumentation (e.g. HPLC,
microscope, plate readers).
- Excellent ability to keep lab notebook updated daily and present
data regularly is a must. Strong documentation skills are very important.
- Biotech/pharma industry experience is a plus.
- Computer skills including Word, PowerPoint, Excel or other graphing
programs is expected along with a working knowledge of statistics.
- Senior candidates with strong bench skills as well as grant writing
experience will be seriously considered for a Research Scientist/Sr.
Research Scientist position.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in biochemistry, chemistry,
biotechnology or similar. An advanced degree is highly desirable.
- At least 5 years of experience working in an analytical research
lab
