Our drug delivery platform is broadly applicable
to small molecules, peptides, and proteins. PharmaIN expects to
identify and characterize 6-7 new molecules for internal development
and/or joint development (license) over the next 18 months.
Our goal is to add 2-3 small molecules,
natural sequence peptides, and proteins each to our available list
of products for further development. For example, we have successfully
formulated a cousin of GLP-1, the peptide GLP-2 (for potential use
in numerous gastrointestinal disease settings).
Our focus is on highly active molecules,
particularly peptides - a new, untapped resource for novel, high
impact therapeutics. Pipeline candidates are expected to target
unmet medical needs where our delivery technology can make significant
clinical impact. Highly competitive markets, such as generic or
biogeneric or high sales/marketing spend markets, will be prime
opportunities for partnering. Current IP and partnership activity
limits specific disclosure of targets, however, disease markets
include cancer, growth factors, pain management, inflammation, metabolic,
and infectious disease. Small molecules, peptides, and large market
off-patent proteins have been slotted for evaluation and screening.
For interested investors, the company will
enter into signed Confidentiality Agreements necessary to discuss
specific product pipeline molecules. A list of potential collaborative
projects can be found here.
